Fauna
Various types of biotopes, broken relief, sizeableness and inaccessibility of some territorial parts influence also the biodiversity of the animals.
Zoo geographically the territory belongs to the West Carpathian section of sub province of the Carpathian Mountains. Almost all West Carpathian mountainous and alpine species live here, many of them are endemic and relict. The territory is also a habitat for some rare insect species and other small animals or bigger mammals, precious beasts and numerous fowls as well.
